Sometimes you’ve gotta throw it back to the very beginning. This wedding was one of the first I helped to design and in turn one of the first that made me fall in love with them! This cute couple who happen to be my brother and sister in law met while in 7th grade and reconnected after high school! Through United States Air Force boot camp, moving three times and three cities later, everything added up to a breathtaking April day.
Chelsea and I worked long distance while Luther(AJ) was stationed out of state to choose her wedding colors, design her theme, and add those personal touches. She wanted a design that paid tribute to the couple’s love of country music and Marvel heroes, while also keeping a rustic, classic theme. She also wanted to include several family’s talents in their wedding day. Chelsea chose to work with me on design but took the planning into her own hands and she did an amazing job!
The Cocoa Rockledge Garden Club was strung with white LED lights that illuminated the entire room, and the tables set with pictures from the couple’s childhood. As if the beautiful on-site gardens weren’t enough, with the help of Adamson’s Orchids it truly was a sight to see. From the family’s greenhouse, they created boutonnières, bouquets, and centerpieces that could make anyone swoon. Captured by Angela Henry Productions, it only took one look at this rustic styled décor to make us fall head over heels.
From boots to bowties every detail was flawless. The bride looked effortlessly stunning in her one of a kind handmade gown, and the florals were dripping in Phalaenopsis orchids, roses, carnations and baby’s breath. Burlap runners lined the tables, complete with color coordinated chargers and lace inspired plating. The couple also gifted attendees with personalized mason jars to fill up with fresh squeezed lemonade or southern sweet tea!
AJ and Chelsea are such a happy, fun couple and celebrating their day with them was something we won’t easily forget! For more information on how we can help you plan your perfect day, contact us and we’ll grab some coffee!
